It has been a trend for commerce graduates who have completed and graduated from a postgraduate Commerce course to pursue UGC NET which works to be a good option as the career opportunities in the field are immense and highly lucrative. To Get through the exam, aspirants are to prepare the following UGC NET syllabus for Commerce. As per the guidelines, UGC NET is conducted in two shifts, with Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 contains general questions, which is to be attempted by students from all streams, while Paper-2 contains questions relating specifically to the subject chosen by the candidate, in this case, Commerce.

Question paper Ist and IInd Pattern


Paper 1st contains 50 questions 2 marks total 100 Marks . All questions are objective type questions (MCQs, True/False, Assertion-Reasoning). All questions are compulsory.

Paper 2nd contains 100 questions 2 marks total 200 Marks . All questions are objective type questions (MCQs, True/False, Assertion-Reasoning). All questions are compulsory.

Time Duration of exam:

paper 1st : 60 Minutes ;
paper 2nd : 120 Minutes ;

UGC NET Commerce Paper 2 Marking Scheme:

UGC NET Commerce Examination will be going to done in 2 papers without any breaks. Candidate who are preparing for UGC NET Commerce Exam 2023 should know about marking system of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
